Children's Plant PEACE Spring Session
This spring we will be creating a Nature Trail at Cedar Spring Herb Farm. Children are invited into this process. This 6 week session is dedicated to working on the stations of the trail(tree identification, animal friends, swamp dreaming place and more) and making them user friendly. The children will learn as we go and will be encouraged to share and build on what they already know. Parents are invited to join in the fun, this is a community project. This is a wonderful and unique opportunity to get to know this land we live on and give back to it, we will also have circle time each week for singing, playing cooperative games and getting to know each other. Once created, The Plant Peace Nature Trail will be open to the public. This program is facilitated by deer (Deirdre Sullivan) local teacher, artist and naturalist with support of Donna Wood Eaton, ch.Herbalist and farm owner.
Children's Plant PEACE Summer Session
The Plant Peace Nature Trail will serve as the children's program resource at the farm. During the 6 week session, we will become familiar with the trees, plants, animals, birds, and spirit of this magical land and trails. Each week we will walk the trail and care for the trail, stopping along the way to learn about the different stations. Storytelling, creative drama, cooperative games, nature art creations and plantings will be part of the session program. This program will be facilited by deer (Deirdre Sullivan) local teacher, artist and naturalist, with the support of Donna Wood Eaton, ch.Herbalsit and farm owner.
Ear Coning
An ancient healing technique, ear coning helps to clear respiratory conditions and balance the body. While available to the general public at most health food stores, there are cautions and associated techniques that are helpful in providing maximum benefits.

Introduction to Herbalism
A Six Week Course
Learn the basics of safe herbal practice including herbal formulation of cosmetics, tinctures, salves, and medicinal teas. Kayaking Trips
The Cape has many different environments for herbs. This rich diversity can best be explored by water and land. We will have the opportunity to do both on these trips, paddling to out of the way, less traveled places to reach the treasures they hold. All are welcome whether novice or expert on these trips and instruction will be given along with help in and out of the water. The trips are weather dependent and sites will be chosen to fit weather conditions, only a washout will keep us from going. Clothing of fleece or wool in layers is necessary, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses are also recommended. You may bring snacks/drinks but every effort must be made to keep the enviroments pristine.

Spirits of Place
The day begins with a Pipe Ceremony at the farm, then we journey together to 5 sites to pray, drum, rattle and vision as we go deep into sacred space and personal process.
Facilitators for the event are:
Cathy Taylor has been exploring the sacred places throughout New England for the past 7 years. Cathy is a member of NEARA, New England Antiquites Research Association, and has actively explored and researched local stone sites. She has been instrumental in the preservation of a stone chamber in her hometown of Upton,Ma. Cathy travels yearly to the earth mounds in Ohio, leading groups on visits during solstice and full moon cycles. Cathy has visited many ancient sites in England as well and presents power point shows of ancient sites to many groups.
Donna Wood Eaton Chartered Herbalist and owner of Cedar Spring Herb Farm, has studied with Native Healers for the past 16 years following her Native American heritage. Donna is a Pipe Carrier and Water Pourer for the lodge and will guide participants through both ceremonies. Donna has also traveled to sacred sites throughout Europe, North America, Central America and the Carribean
